r3d100011635 EarthByte https://www.earthbyte.org/ EarthByte is an internationally leading eGeoscience collaboration between several Australian Universities, international centres of excellence and industry partners. One of the fundamental aims of the EarthByte Group is geodata synthesis through space and time, assimilating the wealth of disparate geological and geophysical data into a four-dimensional Earth model including tectonics, geodynamics and surface processes. The EarthByte Group is pursuing open innovation via collaborative software development, high performance and distributed computing, “big data” analysis and by making open access digital data collections available to the community. https://www.earthbyte.org/contact-us-3/ disciplinary institutional 2015 eng 3 Natural Sciences 313 Atmospheric Science and Oceanography 315 Geophysics and Geodesy 316 Geochemistry, Mineralogy and Crystallography 34 Geosciences (including Geography) https://www.earthbyte.org/what-is-earthbyte/ Archived data Audiovisual data Databases Images Raw data Scientific and statistical data formats Software applications Source code Standard office documents dataProvider archaean geodynamics basin evolution exploration geodynamics global geodynamics palaeo-climate modelling plate kinematics regional geodynamics structural geology surface processes tectonics Australian Research Data Commons ARDC formerly: Australian National Data Service formerly: ANDS AUS funding non-profit https://ardc.edu.au/ ROR:038sjwq14 https://ardc.edu.au/contact-us/ University of Sydney, School of Geosciences, EarthByte Group AUS general technical non-profit https://www.sydney.edu.au/science/our-research/research-areas/geosciences/geology-and-geophysics.html dietmar.muller@sydney.edu.au maria.seton@sydney.edu.au patrice.rey@sydney.edu.au The EarthByte Group https://www.sydney.edu.au/science/our-research/research-areas/geosciences/geology-and-geophysics.html open open CC https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0/ CC https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/ Copyrights https://www.library.sydney.edu.au/help/copyright/ restricted institutional membership unknown yes DOI none yes unknown Dublin Core http://www.dcc.ac.uk/resources/metadata-standards/dublin-core The EarthByte research group collaborates with many national and international research institutions as well as major international industry partners.
