<r3d:description language="eng">This data repository provides access to tropopause parameters estimated from meteorological reanalyses. The tropopause data sets provided on this web site have been created using meteorological reanalyses distributed by the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF), the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR), and the National Centers for Atmospheric Prediction (NCEP). Currently, the repository covers ERA-Interim, MERRA-2, and the NCEP/NCAR Reanalysis 1 for the time period from 2000 to 2018 and ERA5 from 2009 to 2018. The tropopause data files provide geopotential height, pressure, temperature, and water vapor volume mixing ratio for the WMO 1st and 2nd tropopause, the cold point, and the dynamical tropopause.</r3d:description>
