Improvement required for the "Extraction of cited concepts" Graph documentation page #52

This page: https://graph.openaire.eu/docs/graph-production-workflow/enrichment-by-mining/cites
is missing critical details.

More specifically:

  • The algorithmic details part should mention which is the “target database” for (a) the datasets, and (b) software.
  • Intuition on the patterns that the algorithm seeks (e.g., citation texts, github URLs, etc) for the software (and dataset) “references” should be provided.
  • The result of the process on the Graph content (i.e., the creation of the new software node, the respective action for the dataset case etc.) should be clearly mentioned.
    Also, the referenced paper in that page seems to be focused on the extraction of citations (bibliographic references). Is it a correct reference? If not, we should remove it.
    Finally, the name “Extraction of cited concepts” is misleading… Would you object to rename it to “Extraction of referenced concepts”? Cites suggests that we are talking about paper-paper links and this is not the case here.
